Hike – Timberman trail to Squally Reach Viewpoint
When: 9:00 am Saturday, May 18th, 2024
Meet: at Mount Work Regional Park - Ross Durrance Road Parking Lot. This is off Willis Point Road and is the same parking lot for McKenzie Bight. If the parking lot is full there is parking along the road. See map below or click here.
Details: This is a moderately difficult hike. AllTrails says it is 5.8K return with an elevation gain of 244 meters. The trail is rooty, rocky and steep in sections. This will be one of the more challenging hikes so be prepared for a good work-out. Hiking boots are highly recommended. Bring your morning drink/snack as we will rest at the top and enjoy the lovely view of Saanich Inlet.
Time: Allow 2 ¾ hours for stops and view at the top.
